![]() | Shadowy Souls We just finished the provincial tour of Newfoundland and Labrador's Arts and Culture Centres with “The Lady of the Falls”. We had a very successful, sold out run, performing for largely young audiences. I wrote the play, created the main puppet, and built the set. Michael Rigler created the background paintings and shadow puppets. Michael Waller directed, and myself, Louise Gauthier, and Adam Brake performed the show. We created the show in Corner Brook, NL, during my time over the last two years as artist in residence at the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre with support from ArtsNL and The Canada Council for the Arts. Jim Morrow worked with us in the early stages of creation. Here’s the trailer: https://youtu.be/sMn8tWchCHw |

OLD TROUT PUPPET WORKSHOP RAVE REVIEW Calgary Herald Interview with Peter Balkwill (CBC) "Ghost Opera is not all it seems at first blush. Yes, it’s an opera and, yes, it’s about ghosts, but after that, check your assumptions at the door and head to this visually opulent, theatrically mesmerizing show at the Grand Theatre when it opens this coming weekend." Victoria / Hornby Island

FUNDRAISER to HELP! RUNAWAY MOON THEATRE CREATE SUITCASE SHOWS on HORNBY ISLAND.
This summer, Runaway Moon Theatre is taking it's popular Suitcase Show creation process to Hornby Island. We need your help raising funds to pay for our expenses.
Enjoy Runaway Moon Theatre's concept developed by Cathy Stubington answering the question of "How did you get here?" through the development of a short storytelling show that emerges from each artist's suitcase. Tim Gosley assists with direction and puppetry issues.
This project has been continuing for two years, with the first experiment at Merlin's Sun in 2017. There are now over 20 different shows in Victoria, but mostly around the Enderby area of B.C. The Salmon Arm Suitcase Festival this last May 2019, included 20 different shows and 116 performances. As well as the Hornby Island project, we are also looking into taking the experience to Quadra.
UNIMA West participants: Irène Dicaire, Natali Leduc, Petra Kixmöller Timothy Gosley & Runaway Moon Theatre
SPECIAL Hornby participant: Judith Lawrence who created and performed Casey & Finnigan on MR. DRESSUP.
