ANIMOTION (VII) PUPPETRY INTENSIVE Du 24 avril au 12 mai 2019 Basé dans les locaux spacieux du Mermaid Theatre à Windsor en Nouvelle-Écosse, ce programme intensif de trois semaines, ANIMOTION est conçu pour toute personne ayant un grand intérêt pour le théâtre de marionnette et le théâtre physique et souhaitant approfondir leurs connaissances. Le programme est axé autant sur l'animation que sur l'objet en mouvement. Les cours sont donnés du lundi au vendredi alors que les étudiants sont impliqués dans la fabrication, la création en groupe, la production, le jeu et la manipulation. |

ANIMOTION (VII) PUPPETRY INTENSIVE April 24th – May 12th, 2019 Based at Mermaid’s spacious headquarters in Windsor, Nova Scotia, the Institute’s three-week ANIMOTION intensive is designed for those with a strong interest in puppetry and physical theatre and the desire to expand their range of abilities. The program offers a dual emphasis on animation and objects in motion. Classes are held from Monday through Friday, with students engaged in hands-on instruction, group creation, production, and puppet construction. |

The Toronto school of puppetry is dedicated to building and strengthening Canada’s puppetry culture through education, and by supporting the development of new work by emerging and established artists. It is for people from all walks of the arts who are interested in learning about and integrating puppetry into their artistic practice.

Offert par l'entremise de Casteliers, cet atelier permet aux participants de concevoir un personnage et de réaliser les différentes étapes de création d’une
marionnette : conception, modelage, moulage, mécanismes et costume. |
Facilitated by Casteliers, participants in this 45 hour workshop, participantsall the steps towards it's coming to life: design, modeling, cast, mechanisms and costume. Basic manipulation techniques are presented at the end of the workshop.

DESS en théâtre de marionnettes contemporain / École supérieure de théâtre de l’UQAM
Unique au Canada, cette formation universitaire de deux ans, spécialisée en théâtre de marionnettes contemporain, propose un enseignement qui articule apprentissage, pratique des arts de la marionnette et réflexion sur leur place dans le paysage théâtral actuel. L’objectif principal est de former des artistes aux approches novatrices et aptes à mettre au service de leur propos la singularité du théâtre de marionnettes.
