Le Café Concret, cabaret de marionnettes expérimentales et de théâtre d'objet, est à Ia recherche de numéros, courtes-formes et/ou extraits de pièces pour sa prochaine édition. Le Café Concret est un événement bilingue rassemblant marionnettistes, musiciens ou tout autres artistes intéressés par l'objet animé. L'activité est sans but lucratif et les artistes seront payés une modeste somme selon le profit à Ia porte. La 25eme édition du Café Concret aura lieu le 13 november à Montréal (salle à confirmer ultérieurement).
Nous recherchons des numéros expérimentaux de moins de 15 minutes basés sur l'objet. Des extraits ou des numéros complets, des nouveaux projets ou des projets en chantier sont les bienvenus. Merci d'inclure les informations suivantes dans votre demande, ainsi que toute autre information que vous jugez importante: 1. Nom, téléphone et adresse courriel 2. Brève description 3. Durée du spectacle (incluant l'installation et le démontage) 4. Besoins techniques (incluant taille de l'espace/lumière/son/etc.) 5. Cafe Concret is a bilingual community event for puppeteers, musicians, and other artists interested in animating objects. The event is not for profit and artists will be paid a modest fee based on tickets sold. The 25th installment of Cafe Concret will take place on November 13th in Montreal (location TBD). We are looking for experimental object-based performances under 15 minutes. Acts could be excerpts or complete pieces, new or works-in-progress. Puppetry eXploratory Laboratory
Do you have an idea for a project that involves puppetry? Or would you like to participate in such a project? This program brings together people with project ideas (Project Initiators) and people who’d like to work on a project (Project Participants) with our mentorship, on the development of short puppet productions.
